Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, overlooking Jamshedpur, is famous for its herds of wild elephants. The hills rise to around 900 metres and are covered with dense forest.

Watchtowers, forest rest houses and nature trails make it a favourite for trekkers and wildlife lovers. A Shiva temple on top of Dalma hill attracts devotees too.

Early morning drives offer the best chance to spot wildlife.
